• Images & media: When you take or select photos for style analysis, we process those images (which may include compression and hash computation) and send them to our cloud analysis API.
• Device & language info: To improve experience and prevent abuse, we may collect device identifiers (e.g., device ID) and language preferences.
• Account information: If you sign in via Apple or Google, we receive the necessary user profile and tokens returned by those platforms to complete authentication.
• Local wardrobe data: Wardrobe entries you save are stored on your device for management and display.
• Network request logs: To maintain stability and security, we may log necessary request statuses and error information.

Image Data and AI Processing

instry.ai processes images uploaded by users solely for the purpose of fashion and outfit analysis. Our AI engine operates on a transient basis: images are transmitted securely for analysis and are immediately deleted from our servers once the styling feedback is generated. We do not collect, store, or share biometric face data. Users maintain full control over their local history; manually deleting a record within the app will result in the permanent removal of that data.

How We Use Information

• Provide and optimize style analysis, including image processing and returning cloud analysis results.
• Enable and maintain account sign-in, session management, and basic anti-abuse and security auditing.
• Display and manage your wardrobe data locally; we do not sell this to third parties.
• Improve user experience, including localization and performance optimization.

Data Storage & Retention

• Local data (e.g., wardrobe entries) remain on your device and can be deleted at any time.
• Images sent to the cloud for analysis are processed within the analysis workflow solely to generate results for you and are not sold externally.
• Account-related data and tokens are retained for the necessary period under applicable laws and business needs, with reasonable security measures applied.

Permissions & Third Parties

• Camera & photo library: Used to capture or select images for analysis. You can revoke permissions anytime in your device settings.
• Third-party sign-in: We use Apple and Google sign-in services and process related information only within the scope necessary to complete authentication.
• Cloud API: Analysis requests are sent to our backend via controlled network interfaces.

Children’s Privacy

We do not target minors. If you are a guardian and believe your child provided us information without consent, please contact us promptly to assist with deletion.

International Transfers

To provide reliable services, data may be transferred and processed across servers in different regions. We follow applicable laws and apply reasonable security and compliance measures.
